Question- How can we purify the dirty water.
Hypothesis- Filtering water through sand and gravel will filter out all harmful substances in the water.
Procedure-
Step One- Obtain sand, gravel and charcoal, filter paper, Erlenmeyer Flask, and water bottle.
Step Two- Place the filter paper inside the water bottle.
Step Three- Add Gravel, sand and charcoal layer by layer until you have two of each.
Step Four- After water in filtered, measure the volume of the purified water.
Step Five- Repeat step four until all oil and substances in water is gone and water is clear.
Step Six- Boil purified water.
